Have You Ever Written an eBook?
I plan to write one some day. When I will finally know how to consistantly make profits from day trading, and I’ll become rich, I will write an eBook to teach others how to do it too. Than I will sell this eBook and have even more moeny. What will I do with all this money? I am sure I will find what to do with it. Some I will give to charity, some I will keep for my kids, and with the rest I will live well. Those are my fantasies.
If you want to make things shorter and write your eBook now, or create your profitable video series, and make money, you should be checking the Info Prodigy. The Info Prodigy is a course created by Tim Godfrey and Steve Clayton, two internet millionaires. I have taken once another internet course they have created, about living off virtual shops, and it was great. I have not become a millionaire – maybe I am too lazy, and probably I was not born to be an eMarketing. I am a very lousy marketer. But the course was excellent, and from other videos I saw it seems these two really know what they are doing.
In this course Tim & Steve teach how to find a good niche for crfeating your digital information products (eBooks or videos), how to do your research about it, how to write, and finally how to market it in the most successful way so that you can make a good profit.
I have not yet seen the actual course, it is not out yet, but I am sure it will be good. If this sounds interesting, check out their sales page, in which you get a free report that explains their system. It sounds promising.

You seem to have a lot of faith in a product you’ve not bought or reviewed?
Personally I would rather know what is in it before I bought anything – if you haven’t made your millions yet and can’t quite stretch to buying it before recommending it – it might pay you to write to the product creator and ask for a review copy?
I know many marketers would be happy to send you one with the promnise of a review and extra links to their sites… so it’s always worth asking

Deb, be very, very careful with day trading. Make sure you can afford to lose the capital you are using.
I have traded shares and derivatives for over 20 years and always enjoyed it, so when I retired I decided to give day trading a go.
I had £20,000 capital to invest, and I split it. £10,000 for day-trading, and £10,000 for Internet Marketing.
My £10,000 day trading capital was £35,000 at one stage, but I still lost everything over 18 months.
However, I am still here creating an Internet Marketing business, which is a genuine opportunity to get income for life.

If you have the knowledge from the first course couldn’t you write an eBook about that? It may fund you for the 2nd course and allow you to keep what money you have for your family times.
Personally i would advise that you listen to both John McNally and Randy Smith. Both of whom i have known for some time now and I trust both.

Luckily, there are loads of great ebooks online to use as examples. I’m enjoying seeing people coming out with ebooks that aren’t internet marketing related, but are interviews or personal stories. Nice to have a mix of subjects to consider.

Don’t put off writing your ebook, as Mandy says, do it sooner rather than later. I am writing an eBook but I haven’t finished yet, I have had ‘brain freeze’ but it is slowly thawing out. So start writing now and if you suffer from the dreaded ‘brain freeze’ just keep going one page at a time. The secret is not to give up.
Why not write a series of articles about all the courses that you have done then put them into an ebook.

Trading isn’t exactly gambling. In gambling there is much less logic, and in order to secure a win you usually have to use unethical methods. In trading you have to learn the market.

I would jump in and write your first eBook…but only when you have discovered whether there is a ‘buying market’ for your product.
The first one is the hardest to write…but I found it a very educational exercise…it took me three months and at the end of it I wasn’t happy with at all.
The next three were far better and now I’m into adding quality coaching videos to it too.
I wish all the luck in the world and hope you get the success you want.

No doubt you have been swamped with advice. The best decision I made was to get a mentor or coach some one you trust. I am so glad that you did not use the failing word, this is too often used when things go wrong or work out in an unexpected direction. From your words it sounds like you have the persistence to stick to your plan, this is the key.
Have a plan and stick to it until it is working, otherwise you will end up with multiple learning experiences, they are not failures just opportunities to learn that you should not have had.

So you are thinking of writing your first ebook. So have you started. No, why not, there is no time like the present. We come across so many great ideas and feel hey I could do that or that has given me a great idea for a product I will get started tomorrow.
Tomorrow never comes! We are always wanting to create the perfect ebook/product just get on with it. Do you know the product WD 40 lubricant. Why is it called this because it took 40 attempts to get it right. They just got on with it.
Trial and error. Once you have your first ebook done you feel a great amount of achievement. Your second will be better that your first and your third will be better than your second. Take action.

How many people have only THOUGHT about an internet biz and here you are with a blog and comments to reply to. You are in the creme de la creme group! Maybe, if you can think about writing a book on something you REALLY enjoy and are good at? Container gardening? A collection of recipes? One of the best things about the internet is you can start a new blog on anything you love and no one know who you are. Much less frightening than going door to door selling something in your hometown..You can do this!

Here’s some controversial advice for you … DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WRITING AN EBOOK … until you know it will sell!
Instead of spending days or weeks writing an ebook, find one on Clickbank to promote as an affiliate on your blog and via a squeeze page. Concentrate on driving traffic. If you make affiliate sales, you know you could probably sell your own ebook and already have the traffic in place. That is the time to write your own (or have it written for you). If you don’t make any affiliate sales, you’ve just saved youself a load of time that would have been wasted if you had already written the book.

I haven’t bought the “Info Prodigy” course so I can’t tell anything about it but I am sure it will be a high quality product. Tim Godfrey and Steve Clayton are two good and respected internet marketers.
If they became millionaires by selling train horns and birdcages why cant you too? Buying that course will never make you any money. You read it, understand it and follow exactly what it says! It takes ACTION to make any income online…

I have written a few ebooks, I find that the hardest part is starting with a blank page, I just stare at it for hours.
But once I get going there is no stopping me and I fire through it until done.
I have actually kinda moved over towards videos and interviews as I find them as faster way to product content now.
When you are ready, the ebooks will come, trust me.

So, the plan is to get everyone else rich and get your piece of the pie. Very sneaky. I like it. Honestly, I feel the market will crash this fall. Very sobering. The same people who said it would crash in ’08 are saying it’s time for the dead cat bounce. I’d get away from stocks and look for what people will need when they’re in their cars camping.

Futures trading / stock trading / derivatives / currency trading .. all these fancy terms have always attracted me
, but never got around getting into any of these. Did some stock trading a few years back, but nothing much – Oh but I earned more that 50% profit from it, happy bunny 
Look forward to read your posts around these topics. Hope you come up with your ebook soon – one suggestion for ebook creation if that helps – instead of waiting until you make money and how to succeed, you could twist your ebook subject into something like “10 mistakes to avoid while futures trading” or something like that .. you know what I mean. This might give you a good start or some food for thought. It’s not that being successful qualifies us to write about a topic, but it’s about the knowledge we have gained …

You should definitely write an ebook! And like Sally said if an ebook is hard maybe do some interviews and create some audios. You could create the ebook from the interviews!
However the one piece of advice I would give. Write what you are passionate about first! I know this is not the norm and most people will say write what will sell etc etc. Yes that is very sound advice, however if you want to learn the process of content creation then I recommend writing what you know and what you are passionate about. Then it will be easy!
Next you can write about what will sell. My first ebook was on teaching people how to spray tan! It is so micro niched, and most people thought I was crazy doing it, however it was a product I knew and that is why I wrote about it.

Hey Deb, you have taken the first big step and that is to take action. Be sure to have a plan in place though. There is little point in taking action if you don’t have any idea of the direction you are heading. Get a big picture of what you want to achieve in 12 months time and then break it down to smaller pieces, say monthly, then go after them one at a time. Have fun along the way. You may be surprised what you can achieve when you have a big picture view to help guide you. Michael.

I would say just go for it – get something written no matter how “bad” it turns out – you can always build on that base and one of the main hurdles is getting started so it will help you climb that barrier – after all you can always use it as a freebie to build your list and provide content!!

You have more ‘bottle’ than me Deb – I wouldn’t risk capital in futures trading. The experts come unstuck, so what chance have we? I wish you the best of luck though, at least you are trying something.

Thanks. In order to invest in mutual funds you need initial capital to invest. The good thing about day trading is that you don’t have to start out with big capital.
