Organ Stolen in Syria

Posted by Deb | Politics | Tuesday 11 October 2011 12:49 pm

The following video is not easy to watch. It shows one of the civilian protesters in Syria in the city of Homs, Talbisa. This young man (who is reported to be 20 years old) was arrested after caught hit in his left kidney with an explosive bullet, and then taken to the military hospital in that city. Apparently in this hospital all his inner organs were stolen by the so-called doctors, and then his body was given back to his family.

This 20-year man, who was married with a child, had been severely tortured before he was killed by the Syrian security forces. Although the crime of stealing people’s organs existed in Syria even before the latest riots, it has now become more wide-spread and is even shown to the public in such videos whose purpose is to frighten those citizens who support the Syrian Freedom Movement.

Where am I Heading?

Posted by Deb | Day Trading Journey,Politics | Thursday 1 September 2011 8:43 pm

My regular readers have probably noticed I have been away from this blog for a while. I have not yet decided what to do next. I am sure I will get back to trading some time, but not yet. I have to somehow overcome my impulsivity. Maybe when my regular income will be higher I will be less desperate. Or maybe I just have to take some Ritalin (not only for trading – my ADD is getting more annoying).

Meantime I may go back to demo trading. Maybe I will find another platform for this, as the Transact will not allow me do that without investing at least another $500 in my account. Maybe I will take Forex trading for a while. After all, the principles are similar enough.

Anyway, meantime I wanted to share this site (not connected to futures trading): Watch Glenn Beck speaking about Israel and the Middel East.

The Goldstone Illusion

Posted by Deb | Politics | Sunday 3 April 2011 9:56 am

Judge Richard Goldstone is a South-African judge who was mandated by the UN to write a report about Isreal’s Gaza Operation in 2009. The report he had written was scandalously prejudiced against Israel.

Last week he finally admitted he “may have made a few mistakes” in this report.

The best article I have read so far about the Goldstone report was written by Prof. Moshe Halbertal here: The Goldstone Illusion. Please read it to understand the moral dilemmas Israel is faced with when combatting with Arab militants, in the Hamas and Hizbollah.
